Park Chan-wook the man who directed Oldboy is shooting his new Korean horror movie using only an iPhone.

The new film is clled Paranmanjang, which in English means “life full of ups and downs”. The film is about half an hour long, and was made on a budget of only 150 million won ($133,000). The director of this Korean Horror Movie says the iPhone’s small size and light weight, as well as the fact that “anyone can use it,” made it a good tool. His brother, Park Chan-kyong — also a director who collaborated on the film — says a wide variety of camera angles and edits were possible because a number of cameras could be used.

R-Point (알 포인트) written and directed by Su-chang Kong and starring Gam Wu-seong and Son Byung-ho. R-Point is set in 1972 Vietnam, during the Vietnam War. On 07 January 1972, the South Korean base in Nah-Trang, Vietnam, receives a radio transmission from a missing platoon stationed at R-point presumed dead.
